Sanyukta Kothari is a designer and illustrator from Pune, India. She studied Applied Art at Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai, followed by a stint at Elephant Design + Strategy, where she designed identities, branding systems and packaging for a wide range of international and national clients. In late 2010, she moved to Atlanta to attend an intensive design program at Portfolio Center. There, she immersed herself in all things design, from logos to apparel graphics, art directing photoshoots to designing book covers. She was part of an IOPP award-winning packaging design team and also served on a team that interned with The Coca Cola Company.
Her work is often influenced by William Morris, Indian and middle-eastern arts and classical design. Having volunteered with a few environmental and social non-profits, she really hopes to create more socially and environmentally conscious work. She now resides in San Francisco, CA, USA.
