Hi there. I am a designer/photographer/thinker with a reverence for brand development. The processes and challenges involved with bringing brands to life fascinates me. My disciplines allow me the opportunity to craft compelling stories that enhance the human experience.
It is a privilege to say that I love my job. As a designer, I have a passion for shaping and influencing the visual experience. My design process is informed through studying the human experience and its relationships. With every project, my goal is to craft through a lens of empathy, accessibility, sustainability, and delight.
By improving the function or efficiency of daily objects, and making our world more emotionally engaging, we enrich the human experience. A design solution becomes irrelevant if (1) it doesn’t solve the problem for which it was originally intended to address, (2) the execution is not appropriate, and (3) doesn’t communicate the intended message. We must, first and foremost, concern ourselves with the ‘Why’ before the ‘How’. Addressing the ‘Why’ and doing proper research at the outset will guide us to an appropriate and compelling solution for long-term success.
When I’m not in the studio, you may find me exploring with my German Shepherd, chasing light through a lens, coaching youth baseball, brewing espresso, drawing, at the tennis courts, or pretty much anywhere with good music, good food and great company.
