I'm currently a Junior Designer at Quintessence Editions, a co-edition publishing division of The Quarto Group. Quintessence are the originators of the highly successful '1001 Before You Die' series but we also create large beautifully illustrated reference books on popular culture subjects ranging from film, fashion, photography and art, to animals, rock bands and bikes.

Previously I worked for Carnival Film & Television on the ITV drama production Whitechapel Series 3 (starring Rupert Penry-Jones) as a Graphic Artist within the Art Department. I worked alongside Production Designer Tom Brown (Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy, Saving Private Ryan) and Art Director Justin Warburton-Brown (Love Actually, Equilibrium). I help to produced the graphics needed on set – everything from designing book covers to mocking up newspapers, creating brand labels and producing larger signage from way-finding to estate agent for sale signs. In Septemeber 2011, I was 1 of 7 hand selected Central Saint Martins graduates asked to participate in a high profile collaborative competition with the international leader in hair and beauty L'Oreal Professionnel. My concept won and the design graced their 'London Addixion' limited edition range of hair products and were launched at salons worldwide in summer 2012.

After graduating, I was 1 of 9 participants chosen to partake in an LVMH & CSM Innovation collaborative Competition in June 2011. We were asked to design a piece of signage in the form of a large installation for the new LVMH sponsored lecture theatre at new CSM KX campus - my concept and proposal was one of the top two ideas shortlisted to be the finalist. I graduated in June 2011with a First Class Honours in BA Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. I specialised in Design & Interaction with focus on print based and typographic work.

However, I previously studied a Foundation Degree in Art & Design also at Central Saint Martins where I specialised in Illustration and achieved a Distinction. I'm keen to rekindle my love of painting and drawing and combine this with more thought provoking design in my future work. Read Less
