Shout Out!
Effektive. Graphic Design & Communication is an independent graphic design studio run by 27 year old graphic designer Greig Anderson. Originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, Greig graduated with a BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree in 2004 and previously spent 4 years working withinn the Scottish/UK design industry at multi disciplinary agency Curious (Previously CuriousOranj) based in Glasgow. Greig is currently based in Sydney for 12 months and until recently has been working as a designer at Surry Hills based design agency There.
Working across a wide range of disciplines, from identity and branding, print to web design Effektive approaches all projects with energy, enthusiasm and a belief that the initial idea is key to creating effective design solutions. Greig has worked on a large variety of projects over the past 5 years for a variety of clients including, Australia Radio Network, Scottish Football Association, Dell Europe, Epson, Celtic Football Club, Valt Vodka, Glasgow City Council, DTZ, Aberdeen University and HBOS amongst others.
Alongside all commercial work Greig pursues various self-initiated projects across a variety of media including photographic studies, button badge design and production and poster/T-shirt designs and has recently setup up a blog for inspiration and his personal design meanderings.
Greig has had his work featured in a variety of magazines, books and design publications as well as a variety of design blogs, for further details please visit publications. He is a contributor to UK design blog FormFiftyFive and a member of DHARA (Designers Against Human Rights Abuse.)
