manny sobral went to the ‘88 Olympics for Canada, held the Canadian Super Welterweight title from 1996-98, the IBO World Super Welterweight title from 98-99. In 1999 he retired as an Athlete. By 2001 he had completed a M.Ed. from San Diego State University. In March of 2004, Manny founded the North Burnaby Boxing club.
