This is an ongoing project, a growing collection of kids' fantasy costumes. It got kicked off by seeing a personal shot a proud mom once pulled out of her wallet at a party. It showed the actual kid in the cheerleader bat costume and I was so intrigued, I could hear myself asking: Can I take a photo of her? Turned out it was him and I was even more impressed. Eventually this evolved into mashing up known Hollywood, comic or toy fantasy characters. Part of the concept was to make them appear as if they suddenly just appeared in your field of vision, as opposed to just showing cute kids in costumes.
