The State Of Man revisited

The State Of Man revisited
Men and their self-inflicted roles.

Since the turning millenium we have seen a massive shift in the way we expect men to present and define themselves. Man faces tough challenges in times of gender reinvention and the fragmentation of classic masculinity.

But men have never had it so good! They get to live longer. They get to play more.
And harder!
And man gets a chance to meet the challenge, reassembling formerly unheard-of constructions of maleness.

The work The State Of Men revisited builds upon my early 2000s-series for British
trend-briefing publication VIEWPOINT.
Where we once saw men trapped and betrayed by their self-conceptions,
this moving-image update now sheds a more hopeful light by focusing
on the unexpected possibilities rather than the pitfalls and wrong turns.

Man gets another Chance!
