This project started on february of 2011. At the time I thought there were some very interesting facts about eyes and sight and I wanted to work with them. So I decided to illustrate an eyeball that contained facts on the colours of the iris, using a colour scheme that would resemble the iris of an eye. Once finished I decided that there was something missing, so I went on to illustrate the body of a colossal squid, since they are the creatures with the biggest eyes in the world, I thought it would be appropriate for the project.
