Every piece of writing comes from our brain, and that thought is translated to your hands which is a tool to output our thoughts into writing or words. The cover goes back to the basics in focusing on the hand and brain connection. The brain in this case is subtly portrayed in clay in the palm of the hand. With clay, I wanted to show the meaning of Volta, as clay can be mounded into different things thus having different meanings. The cover in essence is an abstract interpretation of the sole essence of writing and poetry. No matter who reads the finished work, one thing is for sure, everyone would have taken the piece of mounded clay, looked at it from a different angle, and thus coming up with a different understanding. That arguably could be why poems and writings till this day still intrigue and puzzle us.
