My MA-project is called Visual learning, and is a study of pupils and motivation. The solution I have developed is an interactive learning profile, a personal and social website with a visual overview of yourself: what you learn and how you learn it. This is a website that visualizes every single pupils progress and strengths. It is a tool that provides the possibility to connect personal interests and hobbies to what the pupils learns in school, sharing what they learn, and give the pupils methods for learning in new ways.
This introductionvideo describes the project and the process in less than 3 minutes. (It only exists with norwegian voiceover at the moment.)
The avatars are illustrations that I've bought, and the outfits (wester'n, boxer and cool guy) are illustrated by Ingrid Reime (reime@o00o.no, http://www.o00o.no).

This poster was an experiment for the exhibition; It says 'stick your strengths here, and maybe you'll learn something new'. On the shelf the visitors could choose stickers with 24 different personal qualities in different colors, f.ex. 'optimistic', 'creative', or 'disciplined'. They could also write their other qualities, or they could write comments, or put heart-symbols on whatever they liked on the poster. This is what the poster looked like in the beginning of the exhibition.
... and this is what it looked like in the end. (Thank God my experiment worked!)
