Valentines Day Card
The brief was to produce either cards, posters or other ephemera which gave the feeling of valentines day. I started by clearing my mind of all things heart shaped and dived into the meaning of love. I looked into my family and found a old memory box filled with photographs. As I flicked through I could see love in the faces and actions. I used the set of photographs of my grand parents because from what I can remember they were in love like in 'the movies'.
There are three types of cards, one emulates the brotherhood of my grand father and his best friend which I made into a gay friendly card. The second was my nan leaning on a bus in Japan where my grand father had to move to. The third was my grand father with a bottle of wine.
