I was asked to design a moving announcement for Newel Antiques, a high end upholstery company. Instead of a typical card, we decided to go for something more dimensional and complex. This invite includes the base layer, four diecut layers, and two wall layers on each side. Each layer feature different types of antique furniture, leather armchair, chandelier, table, cabinets etc., with a touch of surreal imaginary. With the idea of moving and expansion, the card is designed to look like an expanding living room as the receiver take it out of the envelop.
