Scrolling through Behance, I found so many inspiring images of typography, thinking how cool they were and how much I would like to, eventually, try them myself for some project. And then I thought to myself, that maybe I can create a calendar so there would be 12 different styles. And let's not stare in the computer screen for a while. Let's draw it all. If nothing else, I would at least improve my skills in this area.

January was inspired by the "Do What You Like" by Avon, March by the incredible illustrative work of Greg Coulton, followed by April, for which is used Raul Alejandro's images as a reference. September was influenced by one of my favourite artists Martin Schmetzer. Then there are some random lettering styles I happened to like. Finally, December has some characteristics based on the typography done by the one and only David Adrian Smith.

I printed a test version, A5 size, which seems to be just right.
