Photographic series/documentation of performance work in the supermarket
Aspart of my colour research I build collections using invented systems, oftenrelating to a certain colour. In the ‘Trolley’ photographs I have experimentedwith building collections of block colour in the supermarket, a place wherecolour is in abundance, in order to understand how colour may look in mass.

In this work the subject matter of shopping and consumerism is a framework inwhich to act out abstract concepts of aesthesia and control with a collectionof coloured objects. Being located in a trolley, this canvas inevitablyreferences consumer society and disposable culture.
