For a class project, I created Christmas postcards used for promotional material for the children's Toronto Santa Claus Parade. For the wordmark I used hand rendered children like illustrations and lettering for a nostalgic, playful aesthetic. A cursive, illustrative golden type " Santa Claus", which flows out of child's scarf is very organic, contrasting the more structured "Parade" type and body text. On the reverse side I wanted present the parade's history and activities in a handwritten style, mimicking a child writing a letter to Santa.
