The Valley of the Sun Book
A book documenting a trip to Scottsdale, Arizona
This book was created for the Academy of Art's Experimental Typography class taught by Stan Zienka. It documents a trip I made back to my hometown, Scottsdale, Arizona, and communicates a sense of disconnectedness and a feeling of not belonging. The book's text is comprised of lyrics from several songs by the band The Format, who are also from the valley. With the exception of two photos, the book contains all original photography.
