The Golden Platter: Milton Bullock, The Platters

Singer, philanthropist, historian to perform
in Wrightsville Beach
Wrightsville Beach, N.C. - Milton Bullock, former member of The Platters, continues to perform the music of Motown and Doo-wop while using his celebrity status to inspire at-risk youth.
The Platters were the first Black Doo-wop group to have a number one pop record, captivating public attention with their smooth voices, romantic melodies and precision choreography.
Bullock currently performs with Mary Logan Tate, formerly with The Golden Sounds of Motown. The duo’s Golden Platter/Motown showcase rekindles the best musical memories of the 50s and 60s through the smooth R&B of the 80s.
North Carolina native Bullock is active with the Do It For The Kids Foundation, currently committed to pediatric vision screenings for at-risk children to improve school performance. Bullock is a noted and self-taught historian on North Carolina Black history.
Milton Bullock and Mary Logan Tate will perform at Blockade Runner Beach Resort on Valentine’s weekend, Saturday, February 15 at 7 p.m. Blockade Runner is celebrating its 50th Anniversary throughout 2014.

Bullock reminds fans of The Platters to bring memorabilia for personal autographs at no charge.
