This is a visual concept with accompanying images I made for VIEWPOINT Magazine (thefuturelaboratory.com). The protagonists are all real people, shot in their real work environments, representing their emerging work field: From interface design to gardening and experimental robotics their common feature is the open source character of their activities: Open for others to use or alter, to experiment with.
Visually, my goal was to make these shots appear as if they would be collages, while keeping the creation process in the analog domain: Each image is shot 'In-Camera' with no additional post production (except the usual 'cleaning-up' and minimal 'beautification'.
