The United Arab Emirates currently consumes a shocking 20 billion plastic bags a year. The Minister of Environment has set strict measures for the UAE to be plastic-bag free by 2013. In order to limit the dependency on plastic bags, we developed special tote bags that were not only eco-friendly but also equally functional. Designed to mimic lined loose-leaf paper, the Tide Smart Bag transforms into an instant grocery list that can be washed over and over again, transforming every supermarket trip into a fashionable and eco-friendly statement.
