Shortly after the 2012 SnowBall Music Festival, I was approached by the event coordinators to design a commemorative poster for the event. After showing a few concepts, we decided to go with this design. I wanted to create something that embodied the Coloradicalness of the festival and went with a classic mountainscape.
To contrast the bold mountain range, I created the large, free-flowing custom type. Also kept the design to 2-colors for screen printing purposes, utilizing gradients and hatching to mimic additional tones.
