A design and production of a counter and a suspended circular lamp, inspired by the scales covering the skin of an Ocellated lizard, produced for the Council of Toledo at the International Tourism Fair 2011 (FITUR) Madrid. Spain.
The internal structure of the counter and the lamp are made with a removable internal frame built in iron, and both are covered with curved wood. The tiles that line the walls consist of circular glazed ceramic in 4 colors to imitate scales, with a number close up to 5,000 units, covering a total area of 25m2. The ceramic tiles and its installation were made by hand in an artisan way.
