Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord
Colossians 3:23
It all started on my church's 125th anniversary. I was asked to serve on a committee and wound up designing a history book, banners, a calendar, and of course a great logo. Now, I'm the congregation's Web-master too. I designed a family that is reaching out to represent that the congregation is an extended family, a community of believers who, like our church's mission statement, offer the love of Christ with open arms.

Below are some designs I've done for buttons for the Lutheran Camp Okoboji's  annual junior high "Concordia Cubs' Week." Our pastor is on their board and asked me to design the badges.

Used this for a topper for Council & Voters meeting minutes for a while when I was church secretary. I kinda hoped they'd consider adopting it for stationary/letterhead, but we're a small congregation in a tiny rural town so branding and graphic design aren't necissary on everyone's radar- let alone inserting jpegs into MS Word documents on PCs that predate Windows 7.0!
These were designs for a banner, church history and church directory when we celebrated our quasquicentennial.
Name tags for the LWML's annual prayer-partner program.
For a few years in a row, I designed the buttons for Camp Okoboji's 'Concordia Cubs Week,' I gave ut up because their deadline always seemed to coincide with some of the busiest times for me at school, but it was a lot of fun while I did it.
I suggested adding a topper to our weekly bulletins, but I'm not sure they'll end up using it. We'll see.
