Amber Maida, artist and survivor of Sarcoidosis. Amber had half of one lung removed in order to cure her of the disease. A difficult journey for a dancer and artist. Sarcoidosis is a syndrome involving abnormal collections of chronic inflammatory cells that can form as nodules in different (and multiple) organs.
