Happy birthday to Queen Elizabeth II who turns 92-years-old – her 66th birthday since she ascended the throne in 1952. Elizabeth II – the longest-reigning monarch in British history. To mark this historic occasion TYPOART created special collection of souvenirs ROYAL GUARD UK. The Queen's Guards – Irish, Coldstream, Scots, Welsh, Grenadier – worn the tall black bearskin hats, permanent reminder about the victory at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. Three armies were involved in the battle of Waterloo: a French army under the command of Napoleon Bonaparte; an Anglo-led Allied army under the command of the Duke of Wellington, and a Prussian army under the command of Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, Prince of Wahlstatt. Each one the Royal Guard’s UK regiment has a special coloured feather plume in their bearskin.
