The Band of the Scots Guards in Waterloo

The Band of the Scots Guards in Battle of Waterloo
Originally formed in 1642 by King Charles, The Band of the Scots Guards has participated in major world conflicts for nearly three centuries. The distinctive sounds of bagpipes and brass, the high-spirited Scottish sword dances and regimental marching and of course the stately uniforms – a breathtaking grandeur feast for the eyes and ears – have escorted troops into many famous battles, including in Waterloo in 1815.

Happy birthday to Queen Elizabeth II who turns 92-years-old – her 66th birthday since she ascended the throne in 1952. Elizabeth II – the longest-reigning monarch in British history. To mark this historic occasion TYPOART created special collection of souvenirs ROYAL GUARD UK. The collection is always in progress, from time to time is enriched with new pictures, changes are possible as pictures are being continuously improved. Stay tuned.
