Progressive Coworking Space

Domus Academy Project
Subject: Active Workstage in Co-Working Spaces (In collaboration with"THINGS")

Integral to every progressive coworking space are the ingredients to encourage collaboration amongst workers as well as stimulate the spread of knowledge, creativity and learning throughout the environment. With the accessibility to state-of-the-art technology and spaces which offer flexibility while ensuring security, workers will feel motivated to inspire, create and become an asset to their skillful community. Due to this, our focus was on providing a space where workers could conveniently seek out new opportunities with like minded individuals, express themselves in innovative ways and share their knowledge with ease. Incorporating technologies such as digital surfaces, interactive installations, augmented reality, realtime capturing, and public interfaces was our technological focus throughout this workshop. We found it imperative to include interactive furnishings within our concept to improve productivity and enhance group work within the space. We honed in on the visiting cliental as we believe they are a vital strength to the coworking community. Uniting the workers inside with the external public through the outside building facade was another important concentration of ours. In the end, we found an active workstage to be a space which truly enhances the connections between the coworking community through enhancing the transfer of resources and skills while the stimulation of productivity is increased within the workspace.
