This a University Project.

 

We had to create a textil design based on 2 things: a traditional culture or dance and one design given by the teachers randomly.

I choose "La Chonguinada", a traditional dance of Junin, created like a mocking dance of the Minuet. The design given to me by the teachers was a flower in an Ancash textil.

 

First step was study the design given to us, then choose the colors and the format accordingly to the traditional dances's costumes, then depict the textil on a poster promoting our culture.

 

This poster was selected by our teachers to be showed in Cusco Always in Fashion (Cusco's Fashion Week).
