Between serving as a high school yearbook advisor, teaching a digital photography class, contributing pictures to one town's newspaper and spending most summers working at another- I've accumulated a lot of experience waiting for those moments that journalists try to capture and hold still for their readers.

As you can see, I've captured everyone from gesticulating candidates, reflective veterans, and active athletes. I hope that each image achieves it's goal of capturing the essence of the instant and tell as much or more of a story than I could if I had used words.
