With my artwork,I generally paint something that has caught my attention as being worth-while recording or remembering. I strive to set down what I see, to capture the essence of it – maybe summer heat or the chill of winter, a smile, a candid moment. The resulting pictures should then give rise to pleasant memories as well as being nice to look at, framed on a wall somewhere.
