Open Library is the social project which was conceived and realised in Saint-Petersburg. The aim of the project is to fill public libraries with the new life, to transform them from mere book storages into the centers of communication, places where you can get, process and share information.
The project broadens the concept of library, that’s why we decided to use book shelves as the basis
for the identity. Bookshelves which can be filled with anything according to the context.
Two festivals of Open Library took place in 2013. For these events we designed posters, flyers and many other things. Festivals took place on the 19th of July and 19th of October. There were speeches, meetings with famous writers, music show and other interesting things during them.
