Nova Lounge
This team project was a real dream to work on as it was the creation of a "4-in-1". Situated in the heart of Quebec City, Nova Lounge is a bar, restaurant, concert hall, and exposition gallery. Using positioning that caters to a young, urban and professional crowd, this multi-functional space offers a contemporary and chic ambiance for those to get away from the routine of daily life and discover local and international artistic talent in a chic and glamourous setting, a formerly unprecedented enterprise in Quebec City.
The word "Nova" means a new star that suddenly becomes brighter and this name was aptly chosen because it metaphorically refers to the light that is shone upon artists as they emerge in their careers. The name also carries the same tradition of the most popular and successful restaurants and night clubs in Quebec City (Restaurant Cosmos, Star Bar, Bar Ozone, etc.)
This work was in collaboration with 3 other team members: Anne-Marie Roy, Vincent Vallée-Laquert and Richard Doyle, where I was responsible for the design of the logo, website and outdoor signage, as well as the general artistic direction of the project.
