FRANÇAIS : Si un ingénieur pouvait réaliser n'importe quel désire à votre commande, ne serait-il pas un rêve ? C'était le concept de cet oeuvre, où le mandat a été de créer un néologisme (un mot qui est inventé à partir de deux mots déjà existants, alors "Ingénieur" + "Génie") en prenant une photo d'une personne et d'un objet et en les fusionnant ensemble grâce à la magie de Photoshop.
Comme je connais plusieurs ingénieurs dans mon entourage, l'inspiration s'est présentée spontanément. L'idée du génie a été basé sur le génie bleu dans le films "Aladdin" de Walt Disney. Les formules mathématiques sont des vrai formules en génie mécanique. La couleur de la mallette originale était brun et le portable était noir.

ENGLISH: Wouldn't it be nice if an engineer could grant you any wish at your command? That was the concept behind this piece, where the mandate was to create a "neologism" (a word invented from a combination of 2 or more pre-existing words, so "Engineer" + "Ingenius" + "Genie" gives "Ingenius") by photographing a person and an object, then meshing the two together in Photoshop.
