The Jordan Jeter Throwback incorporated nine different shoes associated with Derek's career defining moments. So we used the baseball trainer itself as an expandable, 3-D interface to explore all nine stories.
The fully rendered shoe could be rotated on any axis to reveal hotspots. These would explode the footwear to reveal both performance feature details and video content of Derek talking first hand about each milestone. We captured the athlete content and built the interface in-house.
My role on this project involved concepting, creative direction, video direction, copywriting and being the butt of some of Derek's lighthearted jokes (he's a funny guy!). Jeter Throwback won an FWA Site of the Day Award.
