Super baller, Carmelo Anthony, was releasing his seventh signature shoe and Jordan needed a platform to showcase his versatility. We went meta and came up with Ball Talk, a one-of-a-kind digital talk show built around a user-explorable, 360-degree online studio.
Audience members could include themselves in the interface, create their own custom episodes, discover the Jordan Melo M7 and even star in a promo spot as “Next Week’s Guest”.
In addition to developing the concept, I wrote the scripts for well-known comedian Alex Taylor who played the show's host. I like to think we brought a level of improvisation and humor that was rare in a product campaign, plus we got Melo to admit he'd pose nude in a magazine.
