NYX, Anti Denim's 666 Frames Project

The project "666 Frames" curated by Anti Denim is a tribute to the dark aesthetics that seems to be a growing influence in fashion, music and art. Nyx is the Greek goddess of the night. A shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation, and was the mother of other personified gods such as Hypnos and Thánatos . Her appearances in mythology are sparse, but reveal her as a figure of exceptional power and beauty. She is found in the shadows of the world and only ever seen in glimpses. In this illustration she is a butterfly that dances and is consumed by fire, as you can read in the sentence called the "Devil's Verse": In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni, this sentence is a riddle in the form of a palindrome that means: "we enter the circle after dark and are consumed by fire" and is said to describe the movement of months.
