Monkey is a Soothsayer. She rides in her limousine telling voodoo futures. While being chauffeured around the Platz, the audience learns answers to important life questions from her semi-poetic musings. An accompanying exhibition of mirrors "Monkeyshines" was curated by the artist to help build monkey energy for the performances. The mirrors were collected from fine folks who live in the neighborhood of Neukölln, Berlin.
This project was initiated as an experiement for optimal creative impact with community interaction. The performances play with the staying power soothsaying offers to one's mind's eye.
