hooded cat litter

Minù is simply a plastic hooded cat litter.
Usually these products are rather ugly boxes people tend to hide in laundry rooms or somewhere far from their sight and their guests'. Behind its simplicity and its curvy lines it hides a complex and long product development that lasted 18 months and a countless amount of design refinements.
Intended for the mass market minù's main challenge was to combine design expectations and final market price, in a market nice with barely any room for pricy design pieces. To achieve this goal it has been necessary to refine a number of variables, ranging from plastic thickness to material costs and performances to logistic efficiency.
The final result is a cute little litter, fully accessorized and refined in every detail, somehow inspired by turtle shells, mud beehive houses and Chinese teapots.
