During my stay at Buro Happold I have worked on the KC2B and KCB parts of the project, which account for £70M of the £1.5bln Lots Road project master planned by Terry Farrel and Partners. I was involved in stage D design of KCB Basement and had to provide to cost management a preliminary solution of KCB Basement in Reinforced Concrete. Liaison with ground engineering was very important in finding a solution for the biggest challenge of this part of the project, the water level and its uplift pressure. I was involved in the structural checking of some parts of the RC solution of the 8 storey residential tower KC2B.
