This series 'Les Outils Solitaires' I photographed in the little village Grave in the Netherlands. It's about a abandoned shipyard.
A year ago it went bankrupt due to a conflict and since then everything in the shipyard has remained the same. Calendars show the date of the bankruptcy, all tools have been left unused and the only noise comes from pigeons and blackbirds on the roof.
