Sadly Kurtz were another unsigned talent that didn't make it due to the corruption of the music industry during the 1980/90s by those seeking only to profit while sacrificing genuine artistic creativity and expression. Those responsible include Corporate pimps, Pete Waterman a train spotter from Coventry and his equally inept successor, Simon Cowell. Cowell couldn't hold down a job until his despairing music industry father got him a job as a children's entertainer. Such characters redefined creative terms such as "Producer" and "Musician", who have their material written for them by Sony subcontractors are sold to teenagers as genuine artistsAnd, throughout, just as on The X-Factor, not a single musician or songwriter is ever seen. Yes, admittedly it's a gripe, but if you love genuine art and see it being prostituted and pimped by those who saw it only as an opportunity to make a profit out of its sacrifice, perhaps we're entitled to a rant . Sadly, in terms of redefining genuine creativity, today the malleable teenage wannabe literally do sell their souls for rock `n' roll :(
