Koldair Company is the biggest in the water coolers and dispenser industry in Egyptian to the extent that Egyptians call any water cooler “Koldair” by the name of the company.
They asked us to design the new generation of the water coolers because they started to lose their due to the old-fashioned design, usage problems and the chines counterfeited products are widely spread with poor quality yet cheaper price.
Therefore, they wanted to have new design that will distinguish them from the copied products and reposition them again as a leading company in the market again.
Accordingly, we conducted an intensive qualitative research regarding the existing Coolers in the streets using Observation, in-depth interviews and group discussions to understand then conclude the positive characteristic that we need to keep and turn the negative things into opportunities

After this qualitative study that was conducted to evaluate and detect the pros and cons of the existing Koldair, we came up with 3 design variations that covers all spaces where Koldair might exist and all needs that anyone would want when approaching a water cooler to drink.
