Contemporary range of furniture from JSD
For this project I created a small furniture collection all based on a common design. I wanted to create a simple design that will suit any room but at the same time felt bespoke and contemporary. This is a personal project that came about as I was shopping for a bedside table.
Each piece of furniture features two brushed aluminium bands around each end with matching brushed aluminium handles. The rest of the components are made from polished oak hardwood. This gives the furniture a real solid feel and finish that you would not get with flat-pack furniture. This also makes each piece extremely robust and sturdy.
The initial three items created are shown below: A small Side Table, a Bedside Table and a Chest of Drawers. Other items such as a wardrobe, desk and coffee table are currently being developed and will be added to the collection one complete.
