Iconicar #1: Porsche 917
I created this illustration of a Porsche 917 racecar as part of a series of posters I am creating of iconic motorsport cars. The Porsche 917 became an icon in 1970 when it gave Porsche their first ever win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The car went on to taste success in various races over the following years, with this car in particular winning the 24 Hours at Daytona race.
