This is a save-the-date that I designed for one of my best friends who is graduating college. We wanted to start her save-the-dates now as she is going to be super busy this semester with classes and her job. (She is a language major--Spanish--so it takes up a lot of her time.) Maria loves all things elegant and is in love with "Sex and the City" so we decided to go this route.
The logo that I designed is meant to mock the "Sex and the City" logo; the buildings are all hand-drawn from a skyline photo of Milwaukee that I took. The rest of the pieces I will be designing will have the logo and buildings included. We are also going to use MadMimi and send out an eBlast with maps/directions/etc.
I love how chic this is. Although it is not my normal style, I think it shows my versatility as a designer. Of course I had to include the damask side-border because it wouldn't be a piece of mine without a reference to a fabric.
