As a citizen who is living in China, everyone has himself/herself ID card for identification. In additional, there are a lot of agencies will check the info inside ID card, such as police stations, hotels or receptions of company, etc.
During the time in Design company, we didn't have our CMF designer there, so I chose colors & materials after my ID design.
