Typographic Study Poster
This poster was a study/project in which a great typeface had to be studied, analyzed, and typeset in the manner that it could best be seen in. I chose Garamond because of my love of letterpress and this types historical use as has been evolved from lead to digital. The goal was to create a poster that not only held historical information on the typeface but also use of characters and an applied quote from a certified source. This has gone through many different refinements but I believe the final production is a great combination of this old typeface, used in a modern way.
