This unconventional book, with singular pages set in a wooden box, is a response to a novella entitled ‘Flatland’, written by Edwin A. Abbott.
The design is based on the fact that the plot is set in a two-dimensional world, i.e. Flatland. The book’s pages slide sideways instead of flipping over, thus restricting movement to just two dimensions.
