Synthetic fur, silicone, oil colours. 16" ∙ 7", 2008.
This is an artist's book, made entirely of synthetic fur and silicone dyed with oil colors. The viewer is invited to become active, to touch it, to feel the texture of its cover and to browse through its interior. Due to its material, the pages initially provide resistance to pulling. Once the spectator takes liberties with it,  he can sense the pages flip through as if he was slicing the interior in that very moment. In the first and the last page, there are blue stamps, just like the ones we (used to) see on skinned animals through a butcher's window. This work is  intended as an exercise for the viewer, in which terms such as animal, book, to skin, to uncover, flesh, ideas, food, knowledge, ask for a new interpretation.
