The Everson Museum of Art, whose roots extend to 1897, is and internationally recognized institution known for its collections, exhibitions, scholarship, and educational programs. 

 

In 2010, the Everson Museum of Art introduced The Edge of Art: New York State Artists Series as an alternative to the traditional Biennial Exhibition. Central New York Region artist were featured throughout the year exhibit series, and four exhibit programs were created to highlight each installments within the series. The four exhibits were as follows: That Which Cannot be Held, Designed to Scale, Fit to be Bound, Live Paintings.
