"Eigenart” (trans. Art of ourselves) is the official university magazine at Udk – Universität der Künste in Berlin. It is financed by the Uni and the student’s office itself. I was asked to collaborate as art director and graphic designer. Even if the mag has always been well done, it lacked a little of appeal to the students. The editor told me to make this issue as much good looking and interesting at first glance as possible.
The magazine has been printed in 2500 copies and about 1700 were already over after 10 days from the release. Then Eigenart n.69 has been selected among 40 german university magazines and reached score #8 at the MLP Campus Presse Award 2008. It was the first prize won by Eigenart magazine ever.
